    • I'm going to be honest with you...nothing worked. Only time helped. I felt better around week 14. I tried Zofran, herbs, different types of food and none of it helped. I even did acupuncture. Hang in there.

        • me, too. so sorry. try all the remedies below- above all, if there's anything that makes you feel better, eat/drink it- i drank an ice cold coke every day, caffeine be damned. it usually came tight back up but at least i had a moment of relief while drinking it. if it's any consolation, this is by far the worst symptom of pregnancy. once it ends...

    • My doctor gave me a prenatal vitamin that helps with nausea. it helps. Also, i find that i need to 'take it slow' in the mornings -- not rush.

    • icy water with lemon squeezed in it, Lemonhead candy, peppermint candy, spending as much time in fresh air as I could and not going anywhere without a window, getting a lot of rest (it was worse when I was tired)

    • nothing worked for me, but since then i've heard that ginger tea works. and grapefruits too. i just ate a lot of saltines and watermelon and tried to wear those motion sickness wristbands- they sort of helped. but it was awful. and then one day you wake up and you feel great again.

        • That's not true--where did you hear such nonsense? Ginger is perfectly safe during pregnancy and helps millions of women around the world. Stop scaremongering

    • Coke. OB said I could have one can a day with no worries. It was LIFESAVING! also sour patch kids, plain white bread, milk and plain foods like plain peirogies and pizza

    • I ended being hospitalized for extreme morning sickness. In the end phenergen suppositories and premesis (anti-nausea pre-natal vitamin) worked for me. Ohhh and replacing fluids at the hospital. So sorry, it's no fun...but it does get better! Zofran didn't help me, but it's a miracle for some people.

    • plain bagels with nothing on them. i read (afterwards) that this is what astronauts eat when training before going in the flight simulators.

    • I'm wearing those motion sickness wristbands and they're helping a little bit. Walking in fresh air. Distraction. Eating every 2 hours (protein, complex carbs). And those disgusting Spice Drop candies - have never liked them in my entire life, but for some reason now they seem to settle my stomach.

    • Coke -- about a quarter of a can will calm your stomach and then you can eat something. (that way you can spread your one coke throughout the day). When you can eat, rice cakes or a slice of bread with peanut butter or a piece of sliced turkey are perfect. Popcorn worked too. Ginger did squat for me. Eat every two hours if you have to, and have a popsicle when you're really dehydrated, or very diluted oj if it will stay down. Also, stay away from egg yolks -- they're tough on you. It WILL get better, I promise.
