  • I'm annoyed, maybe I don't have a right to be. Having a few kids from a class dd is in tomorrow over for her b-day (she's 2). We invited 7 kids. I am friends w/ 2 of the moms and know the other moms only through the class (I wah so go to the class about 25% of the time). A mom in the class just left a message saying that her son is coming, but his babysitter takes care of another girl that day, so she (the little girl) will be coming as well. WTH???

    • that doesn't sound too bad, but if you can't accommodate just call and say you are sorry, but can't deal with an additional guest--maybe your dcs can play another day instead.

    • it's not a big deal to have one extra child, but it is totally rude of the mother to not call you first and act. I would be annoyed too.

    • Do you want your dc's friend to come or not? B/c it seems to me that if he comes, this is the situation for him to attend. God, you people drive me insane griping over little crap all the time. What happened to "the more the merrier"?
