I'm annoyed, maybe I don't have a right to be. Having a few kids from a class dd is in tomorrow over for her b-day (she's 2). We invited 7 kids. I am friends w/ 2 of the moms and know the other moms only through the class (I wah so go to the class about 25% of the time). A mom in the class just left a message saying that her son is coming, but his babysitter takes care of another girl that day, so she (the little girl) will be coming as well. WTH???

- that doesn't sound too bad, but if you can't accommodate just call and say you are sorry, but can't deal with an additional guest--maybe your dcs can play another day instead.

- it's not a big deal to have one extra child, but it is totally rude of the mother to not call you first and act. I would be annoyed too.
