  • How much does your husband help out each day? Mine helps for between 30 and 45 minutes before ds goes to sleep. Lately it's been 15 minutes. I'm newly pregnant and exhausted, working f/t.

    • 1-2hrs every night - reads with ds, often cooks, always cleans up the kitchen (dishes, pans), takes out the garbage. I work from home, he works long hours.

    • mine does what he can when he gets home. he works long days and usually it is bt 15-45 minutes with ds also. i'm pg too and you'll feel better the 2nd tri. it's still hard, but just think that this is easy compared to having 2 dc!

    • he does what i need him to do, sometimes nothing but if i want to go to bed early, or fold laundry upstairs, I'll ask him to finish any dishes, bottles, take out dog and clean up toys. it's really like 10 mins worth of work!

    • I work f/t and still do more than dh. That said, we at least "take turns" cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. That helps.

    • We both work at home, so he is in and out of our business (in a good way) all day and generally takes the kids to the playground for an hour each evening, then does bath and bedtime. I'm preg. w/our third. I do most of the cooking and cleaning but he definitely does some cleaning and dishes. We don't really have it divided very definitively.
