  • Life isn't fair....Been ttc for over a year. One endometriosis surgery and two painful, devastating miscarriages and here i am still not pregnant and feeling lower than low. Meanwhile it seems that everyone in my world can get pregnant on there first or second shot, no issues, no miscarriages.....Why me?

    • Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. It seems like everyone gets pregnant the first try, but it is just those people like to talk about it. There are thousands of women who silently suffer ttc. You are not alone.

    • Keep in mind that a lot of people forget how long they've actually tried. They're not lying when they say they got pregnant right away - they're just not quite remembering the whole story. Keep your chin up.

    • I have been off the pill for 6+ months & still havent had my period & therefore ovulated..hopefully that makes you feel a little better.& i am fairly young

    • I've had two laporoscopies to remove a total of five endometriomas and had a mc. Now have a healthy dd. You'll get there, trust me:)

    • Sorry to hear, and my best wishes, but its not "you". You sound bitter and upset, rightly so, and I am certain there are support circles for people in your situation attending which will make you feel less isolated and less put upon by fate. Please get help. If you reduce all the sadness and stress you are putting yourself under with your biterness and dispair, the healthy pregnancy may be next.

    • have you done immuno panel yet? check clotting? any diagnostic on the m/cs?

    • thx all....don't need a support group or anythng, just venting. the only thing that will help is a pregnancy, one that actually has a baby as an end result. good to know i'm not alone.

      • Many many people in that boat. I was at a fertility center over the week-end for some blood work, their huge waiting room was overcrowded....

    • I belonged to an infertility support group and it helped so much to speak with others who were going through the same experience. Good luck! By the way, we started with 6 original members and we all have a baby/babies now albeit the journey did take a while.

    • We went through many rounds of IVF unsuccessfully and then adopted. We couldn't be happier. Looking back on it we could say that if we had skipped the IVF and just adopted we would have saved ourselves a lot of heartache. But it was part of our experience and I have no regrets where we ended up or how we got here.
