Got
Milk?
Looking for kids' clothes that capture an edgy European style? Milk
on the Rocks serves up an eclectic mix of all-cotton tees, onesies,
sweatshirts and dresses with silk appliqués, screen prints
and multicolored embroidery for both boys and girls newborn to age
six.
This clever new line features bold imagery, fun sayings, and funky
takes on common childhood themes like the dinocoaster
dinosaur skeletons with roller-coaster cars riding the curves
of their backs. Other original
graphics include butterfly wings that morph into the sails of a
boat, a clothesline with jet set cities of the world put out to
dry, hip-hop baby lessons, and the charming Milk on the Rocks logo,
which presents baby's bottle as a fun party drink (please drink
responsibly!). Color combinations are as surprising as the graphics,
pairing hues like cobalt, berry, lemon and leaf with accents in
coral and clay.
Founder and creative director Julie Kang splits her time between
New York and Paris (home of the recently opened Milk on the Rocks
boutique), and brings more than ten years of serious fashion design
experience to the table. With stints at Lanvin, Claude Montana,
and Balmain, you can be sure she knows her stuff. The rest of the
international team is pretty impressive too, with award-winning
expertise in branding, graphics, and product and textile design.
Now you can bring a little international flavor to your tot's wardrobe
without having to get on a plane. C'est magnifique!
