Big flavor can come in little bites. Lucky for you, those bites can be frozen, reheated and served to baby in minutes.
Petite Palate, founded by a mom/chef combo after they turned their own homemade baby food into a biz, is launching its line of organic gourmet baby food. The first run includes yummy dishes like spinach potato puree, apple pear blend, and split pea stew. Servings are flash frozen (they last up to a year) and packaged in individual paper cups for easy reheating. Baby will develop a refined palate for ginger, vanilla and thyme, while you'll save plenty of it (time, that is).
Taste a sample tomorrow at Zabar's (81st & Broadway, 2-5pm) or Sunday at Jubilee Market (Riverside Blvd. bet 68th & 69th, 3-6pm).
And remember: Take small bites.
