Coyote's Dance

Catch the Treehouse Shakers' premiere of this original dance-play with music by award winning musician Roderick Jackson and the First Women's Nation a cappella group, Ulali. Audiences will discover the remarkable world of Coyote, the infamous mischief-maker from Native American mythology, as he and his friends fly, jump and dance through the air on trampolines. The engaging contemporary dance and beautiful costumes will keep kids locked in their seats.

A Celebration of Literature

Forty talented kids ages nine to fifteen from the National Dance Institute, a New York-based dance-education organization founded by former NYC Ballet dancer Jacques d'Amboise, perform a collection of dances based on stories and poems by prominent writers like E.L. Doctorow, Judy Collins, Shakespeare and Gwendolyn Brooks. Music is composed by David Amram and the sets are by renowned visual artists.
