Bone to Pick
We
thought we'd seen it all in the dog worship department, but apparently
not. Be the first at your neighborhood dog run to boast about how well-adjusted
Fido is to your new little bundle, all thanks to an “audio desensitization
recording” designed to help Man's Best Friend make the transition
to being Baby's Best Friend.
The CD, entitled The Sounds of Baby, gradually introduces infant noises such as cooing and crying to your pet so that he or she can slowly get used to no longer being top dog around the house.
Of course, when it comes to breaking the news that gourmet treats and dog spa visits are a thing of the past, you're on your own. After all, you've got a whole different kind of pup to care for now, and one that's unlikely to be content with a good game of fetch and the occasional bone.
