Bare Necessities

You pull out a diaper from the bottom of your bag only to find it's wadded-up, covered in lipstick and dotted with stray raisins and Cheerios. Or, you reach in and discover your container of wipes has popped open and saturated The Metro Section you were hoping to finally read. Sure, you could organize and protect these essentials by placing them in plastic bags, but isn't modern parenthood supposed to be about not having to make any style compromises?

Founder Christina Rein thought so, and has come up with yet another mom-invented solution that makes a design statement while offering a practical twist. Diapees & Wipees are small, cotton bags that hold two to four diapers and a standard travel container of wipes. The fabrics are fun and mercifully free of licensed characters – ranging from black dots to camouflage to playful letters and funky monkeys.

They're perfect for organizing the vast frontier that is your diaper bag, keeping everything within reach. And they're handy for a quick trip to the park or corner deli when you want to leave the carpetbagger look behind, but know you'd better not tempt fate. (Who among us doesn't at least love the impression of being footloose?)

With this simple solution, your diapers (at least while they're in the bag) stay nice and clean. On the baby, that's another story.
